At the launch, BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu said that "the world's most advanced plug-in hybrid technology is in China." According to the press conference, BYD's fifth-generation DM technology can achieve the world's highest production engine thermal efficiency of 46.06%, the world's lowest 100km loss of power fuel consumption of 2.9L, and the world's longest comprehensive endurance of 2100km.

Before listing, BYD invited a number of media to carry out actual tests on the loss of fuel consumption and comprehensive battery life of the two models. Fuel consumption in a power loss test, the whole course is 111km, the urban road accounts for about 30%, and the fast road accounts for about 70%. According to the data of various media tests, the loss fuel consumption of Qin L and Seal 06 models are less than 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers. In the comprehensive endurance test, these media friends were divided into three routes and three directions, starting from Xi 'an, respectively to Changchun, Jilin, Shenzhen, Guangdong, Hami, Xinjiang Province, high-speed accounted for more than 90%.
