Coil Commanders™ and PCTMs (Pull Coil Timer Modules) are externally attached to the solenoid to prevent overheating of the pull coil. ICE (Integrated Coil Electronics) and AICE (Advanced ICE) solenoids have built-in electronics that prevent overheating of the pull coil.
